Ellie 4 Africa – Fundraising Appeal
Hujambo I Hello
My name is Ellie Glasgow and I live in Beeston Regis. I’m 15 and studying for my GCSEs at Sheringham High School. Next summer, 2018, I’m hoping to go, with the school, on a four-week charity expedition to Kenya. The trip is organised by Camps International, who promise “an authentic and life-enhancing educational experience to develop life-skills, cultural understanding and a global perspective”. I’ll be working on projects that will help to transform Kenyan communities and overcome some of the challenges they face such as access to clean water, education and housing. I’m also a keen artist/photographer and would like to pursue this as a career; so this trip will provide extraordinary opportunities for my own creative development. This truly is a
ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY!
It’s all going to cost about £4000. I’m doing my best to raise most of this myself and am organising, with the help of my family and friends, all sorts of fundraising events.
CAN YOU HELP, PLEASE?
There are lots of ways that you can offer support e.g. by:
- making a cash donation at justgiving.com
- donating a raffle prize
- organising an event like a coffee morning or charity gig
- doing a sponsored activity
- taking a collection at an event
- baking, preserving, growing or pickling goodies to sell at my events
Please, please support in any way you can to help me make this dream come true.
Asante I Thank You
