COAST’s literary teas are a real treat: engaging conversation with writers and poets served with the Mackenzie Hotels’ indulgent Afternoon Tea.
First up on Wed 12th July at The Dales in Upper Sheringham are Marc Peirson and Andrew Taft.
Marc Peirson lives in Sheringham. As a novelist, using the cunningly deceptive nom de plume of Mark Pearson, he has written six books in the Jack Delaney detective series. Private London, published in 2011, saw Mark become the first ever British author to collaborate with James Patterson. As Marc Peirson he has been a multi-award nominated TV scriptwriter for over fifteen years. His credits include Emmerdale, Eastenders and Holby City.
Andrew Taft has written regularly for The Bill, Monarch of the Glen and Eastenders. His career has taken many and varied forms: radio commercials, stand-up comedy and sketches for stage and TV, corporate training videos, scripts for murder mystery weekends and telephone horoscope lines – his greatest works of fiction.
£15 including full afternoon tea. Early booking recommended.
