FRIDAY 2nd TO SUNDAY 4th NOVEMBER 2018
Once again we will be holding a not-to-be-missed seasonal exhibition and sale of work in the very pretty (and warm!) St Margaret’s church at Thorpe Market, combining an exciting, diverse, collection of original artwork with a variety of unique, handmade gifts (if you can bear to give them away), cards and prints from three local artists. As always, a wide selection of used books will be for sale, as well as refreshments in the form of teas, coffees and delicious homemade cakes. Entrance and parking are free, the exhibition is accessible for wheelchairs and is dog friendly, and as always there will be teas and delicious homemade cakes and a selection of used books. Do come along and meet the artists who will be on hand throughout the exhibition. Opening hours 11am – 4pm each day.
ROSALIE OSBORNE GIBB
Rosalie will once again be exhibiting an exciting new collection of artwork, from exquisitely detailed watercolours, to bold and colourful acrylics and soft pastels, covering many diverse subjects. Signed Limited Edition prints, plus mugs, coasters and a wide range of greetings cards featuring Rosalie’s artwork will also be available, including Christmas cards. Rosalie’s paintings have found their way around the UK and Europe and across the globe from New Zealand to Canada, have sold to private collectors and at various exhibitions and through galleries, locally and further afield, including The Guildhall in London. A piece of original artwork would make a fabulous gift.
Glass Artist Terrie creates an exciting range of handmade kiln-fired glass items, ranging from beautiful Murano glass necklace pendants with shimmering dichroic inserts to Christmas decorations, dishes, ornamental items, landscape and seascape panels. These beautiful creations are not only totally unique to Terrie, so make really special gifts, but are also very affordable. Individual commissions can also be undertaken.
Ian’s unique and affordable clocks, lamps and other gift items are all hand made from reclaimed solid oak with inserts of complimentary materials and would also make special presents as well as beautiful additions to your own home.
