Comedian Norman Lovett, aka Holly in Red Dwarf, will headline the Stand Up For Labour gig in North Walsham Community Centre on Thursday, May 31st at 7.30 pm.
Presented by the North Norfolk Labour Party, he will be supported by Norwich mind-reading comedian Doug Segal and Helen Ivory, an award winning poet.
Although best known as Holly, Norman Lovett is one of the most influential comedians in the country who has developed his own style since the 1970s. Doug Segal has sold out two UK tours and made numerous TV appearances. Helen Ivory has won a Gregory Award and her semi-autobiographical ‘Waiting for Bluebeard’ was shortlisted for the East Anglian Book Awards.
