COAST ARTS Cromer and Sheringham Art and Literary Festival incorporates a wide range of art forms into a local festival including: painting, sculpture, dance, theatre, literature, film, poetry, music, photography, installations, workshops & many other diverse events.
It took 6 years of successful October festivals to evolve from the Cromer and Sheringham Art and Literary Festival to COAST ARTS. More than a festival, more than a week in October, Coast Arts is now visible all year, but still culminates in the traditional half term focus. Not that it’s a change, just a quiet revolution, just adding to the success.
Primarily the object of COAST is to promote and provide access to the arts in the Cromer and Sheringham areas. We encourage celebration of the variety and quality of work produced in the local area and creating a vision to share for the common good. In essence this gives local communities and visitors the opportunity to experience local, regional and national creativity.
Please look at our entry page if you want to contribute to the programme. We are always looking for Expressions of Interest from artists, musicians and performers who would like to stage an exhibition, performance or event as part of this year’s COAST ARTS programme of events. Please go to the submissions page if you’d like to advertise your arts event gratis on our What’s On page.
The COAST Organisation
We have a part-time paid co-ordinator and treasurer, but the main hands-on work is achieved by a small group of volunteers. Artists wishing to take part should be aware that they must take personal responsibility for their event, and work in partnership with the COAST organisation.
Help support us when using the internet. We’ve signed up with EasyFundraising so you can support us doing things online without any cost to you!
There are lots of ways that you can support the COAST festival by sponsorship and advertising options. Find out more.
And we’re always looking for new volunteers to join our merry gang.
