Cromer Carnival Open Air Open Mic | 13th August

AUGUST 13th | Midday to 4
North Lodge Park, Cromer
Part picnic; part carnival; part DIY music. All afternoon fun.

ROCK THE LOBSTER will be in North Lodge Park, Cromer, giving performers a chance to, well, perform. The day is to enable local performers gain experience, improve their skills and, perhaps most importantly, enjoy themselves! There will be 15 minute sessions across the afternoon giving amateur performers a chance to demonstrate their talents and to give novices of all ages an opportunity to shine.

Come along to participate, or just bring a picnic and chill out while supporting the performers.

If you want to guarantee your slot, or know more about the day, please fill in the form below and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

ROCK THE LOBSTER is a voluntary group seeking to promote all performing arts (including: live music, poets, magicians, dancers, etc). RtL aims to give amateur performers a chance to demonstrate their talents and to give novices and children a go. Ideally this will enable local performers to gain experience, improve their skills and, perhaps most importantly, enjoy themselves! RtL have two regular evenings at the YHA Sheringham NR26 8HX; Grilled on the first Thursday of the month and Chilled on the third Thursday of the month. Grilled evenings are for all-comers and music-wise bands, drums, electric guitars, bass and vocals. Chilled are also for all-comers but musically more acoustic/semi acoustic.

North Lodge Park is a pocket sized park at 5 acres, but what a gem. A true icon for Cromer, one of the attractions that make Cromer.

A quintessential sea-side cliff top park. Full of flowers and well maintained lawns.

Friends of North Lodge Park work with the council, looking after the western end of the Park, manage the cafe (quality coffee, tea, cake and crepes), and host events to bring the Park to life.
