Overstrand resident Paul Hensby’s Soul Nights at the Belfry are getting a loyal following of local soul and funk fans. The October gig will feature black American music from the 60s and 70s including well known tracks from Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Jackie Wilson and The Temptations as well as lesser known jazz funk numbers to get the feet tapping.

Previous soul nights have got the audience dancing and this Saturday’s good time event will add a funky feel to the festival.

And as an extra attraction, Norfolk craft brewers Grain are providing excellent real ales to be enjoyed at Soul Night and other events at the Belfry.
