Bracken Moor
Date: October 14, 2016 7:30 pm; until 15 October
Set against the economic crisis of the 1930s, this boldly theatrical tale of grief and denial by Alexi Kaye Campbell is the second production for CSODS directed by Kirk Wills whose NODA award winning production of The Diary of Anne Frank in 2015 is still one of our recent highlights.

Come & Sing with Sheringham & Cromer Choral Society (SCCS)

ANY and ALL would-be and experienced singers are invited to join SCCS members at our annual FREE Come & Sing. Together, at The Lighthouse from 10am-4pm, we will enjoy learning and singing choruses from Haydn’s “Nelson Mass” under the expert leadership of David Ballard with Anthony Gowing.

Come & Sing CONCERT with Sheringham & Cromer Choral Society
Date: October 15, 2016 5:00 pm
A short informal concert, in St Peter’s Church at 5pm, at which family, friends and all-comers will be warmly welcomed to hear the results of the days rehearsals.

FALCON Autumn 2016 Concert

FALCON concerts were set up to provide a showcase for Purcell School alumni and to raise funds for both FALCON and St Andrew’s Church Development Fund. The now eagerly-anticipated concerts have established a reputation for excellence; this one will not disappoint.

Calypso Carnival in Sheringham Library

For families with children of primary school age, this event will feature songs, dances and stories from the Caribbean with Caspar James.

Magnetic and Mesmerising Norfolk by Samuel Thomas
Date: October 22, 2016 10:00 am; until 30 October
Sam’s paintings of identifiable Norfolk and Suffolk locations celebrate the energy and charm of each place. He will be present throughout the exhibition where he’ll be unveiling 5 new paintings and showing an extensive collection of limited edition prints.

Completely different from anything that we’ve come to know and love from Brian… this open studio offers a rare opportunity to view his early work alongside his extensive collection of limited edition prints.

Alchemy in the Woods offers an opportunity for visitors to visit the new home for Art Is Medicine in the grounds of The Turning Point over the weekends of the festival.

Cromer Music Evening

A concert inspired by poems and tales collected, before the First World War by Christobel “Kit” Hood, from the men and women who lived and worked on the land, and now set to music by her great, great niece Bertie Anderson-Haggart.

Beery Walk Cromer-Felbrigg

Circular walk-8.8 km/ 5.5 miles- led by Martin Warren, the Poppyland Brewer, who will talk about the inspiration he takes from the local landscape to brew his award-winning beers.

Medieval Revolution

In this illustrated talk, based on her book, Susan will bring Lady Cobham to life and explore her revolutionary tendencies.

Veronica’s Room
Date: October 27, 2016 7:30 pm
Veronica’s Room tells the story of Susan Kerner, a young beautiful Boston college student who is on a date with the charming Larry Eastwood in 1973. The young lovers find themselves at The Brabissant mansion owned by the Mackeys, an elderly Irish couple instantly struck by Susan’s strong resemblance to long since dead Veronica Brabissant. Together they enter Veronica’s room, untouched since 1935 and nothing will ever be the same!

COAST arts Big Draw in partnership with The Mo

Local artist Sam Robbins and Sheringham Museum invites you all to contribute to an original art work inspired by the 2016 Big Draw theme of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, ART and maths). Investigate the Sheringham Shoal Wind Farm Centre and get creative with wind energy and turbines.
